Marvels of Scientific Instruments

Toledo was a center for the creation of marvelous instruments ranging from astrolabes to telescopes, and everything in between. Their output was so well-known that their instruments were coveted in Europe and can be said to have contributed to the voyages of “discovery” that occurred later. The science practiced in Toledo was so famous that it was even mentioned in Chaucer. Discover more in a fascinating lecture.
