Cemetery Preservation

Saving Houston’s History

Your hands-on work will help preserve and restore cemeteries in Houston, saving and commemorating the past. Currently, Archaeology Now is collaborating in a multi-year project with PROJECT RESPECT to restore and preserve historic Evergreen Negro Cemetery.

Join us as we clean headstones and assemble damaged monuments so future Houstonians will learn about our city’s history.
