INTERACTIVE EVENING.  al-Andalus, Medieval Islamic Spain:  Three Faiths, One Culture

The three faiths of Islamic Spain, together, helped lay the foundations of the Western world. Learn why, without al-Andalus, there would be no Beatles or Bill Gates. Ideas will be debated and a roving microphone encourages audience interaction and particiation.  Book sale and signing.

Dr. Brian Catlos, Director, Mediterranean Studies Group, University of Colorado. Professor of Religious Studies, is known for his lively interpretations of history and his ability to help us understand why the past is still part of our lives today.
